Cold Hardy Veggies Garden Workshop

  • Coconino Cooperative Extension Office 2304 North 3rd Street Flagstaff, AZ, 86004 United States (map)

Cold-hardy vegetables can survive light frosts and produce nutritious food in the springtime with proper preparation and care. This fun workshop at the Bus Stop Garden will provide an introduction to growing plants like kale, beets, and peas at home or in a community garden plot.

This will be the kick-off event for the 2018 Seed to Table series. It will give you a chance to dig in the dirt and get your wiggles out after a long day at work or school. New for this year will be the opportunity to meet local farmers and sample their harvest.
