Flagstaff Community Seed Swap
“Join Flagstaff Foodlink, Coconino County Cooperative Extension, Flagstaff Sustainability Program, and the Grow Flagstaff Seed Library at the Coconino County Cooperative Extension office for a community seed swap.”
Dates vary.
Grow Flagstaff! Seed Library
“Grow Flagstaff! Seed Library is located at the Coconino County Cooperative Extension Office (2304 N 3rd St, Flagstaff, AZ). Membership is achieved by filling out a short form and committing to returning seeds at the end of the season. By collecting and providing a pure source of seeds optimal for our local conditions and the knowledge on how to grow them, the seed library promises that people will have a better chance of becoming successful gardeners each year.”
East Flagstaff Community Library: Little Seed Library
The East Flagstaff Library branch has a small seed library that provides a variety of veggie and flower seeds free to the community. The seed library is free to use and open to all patrons. Anybody with a library card can check out (and do not necessarily have to return) two packets of seed per library visit. You don’t have to promise to return seeds to use the library, and seed packets are generous in the amount of seed provided. The Library also has a garden kit that includes gloves, reference books, and some hand tools that patrons can check out for use in their gardens.
