Seed School in a Day focuses on seed saving basics with large doses of inspiration and examples of community seed initiatives that are changing the shape of our local food systems. Participants will gain a comprehensive overview of seed knowledge covering the history, science, business, and craft of seeds. This class will include a brief overview of the “fresh flour movement” and its importance in recreating bioregional grain chains as the basis of healthy local cuisines. A delicious, healthy organic lunch will be served.
